Creative Europe – Focus on the Danube

An international partner search meeting on 28-29 May 2015 in Budapest, Hungary

The countries of the Danube Region - comparing to other members of the EU - are smaller countries with capacity-limited cultural organizations. As a result, these organizations only can participate in large projects as a partner organization - which are funded by the Creative Europe - or if they have extended international acquaintanceship. Therefore would be important to support the cultural organizations in these countries to help them networking and finding partners. The findings of the last years’ programs point out, that the most important terms for a successful application are the next:
  • technical knowledge
  • creative, elaborated ideas
  • personally based, good partnerships
The aim of our program is to give opportunities for the Danube-region countries, focusing on the last two terms.

Target groups:

The priority target groups are the cultural organizations of the Danube Region, but participants from other countries are welcomed too.

Objectives of the program:

During the two days the aim is to share useful information, practical advises, ideas, successful experiences, new aspects of the implementation with the participants. Furthermore a trial elaboration of an application will have been provided to them and experts of the Creative Europe program will evaluate this trial version. Joining the program is free of charge, but accommodation, travelling costs will not be provided.

The working language of the meeting is English and the registration also.

  • Introducing the represented organization and their activities (Activity Report)
  • Summary of their future project ideas
  • Photo
The primal aim of the registration to help the organizations get to know each other by the help of these information.
